Official DJ of Indiana University Athletics — Iman Tucker to Return for Year 2
Iman Tucker is set to return to Bloomington, IN as the game-day DJ for IU Hoosiers Football and Basketball Teams
BLOOMINGTON — Iman Tucker is set to return for the 2023–2024 Indiana Athletics Year. Iman will serve as the official game-day DJ for the Football team, and Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams.
As he’s settled into the job of Assembly Hall DJ, Tucker — who runs his own business, Believe Brand Entertainment — has overlaid that process onto the arena he now sees as an opportunity every home game-day to make those different audiences meet in one collective, enjoyable experience.
“I have this term I used to use all the time called vibe curation,” Tucker said. “To me it’s just creating a positive experience that’s full of energy and full of life. Every game I’ve done from UNC to now, the process has become more refined.”
Full of praise for Tucker’s work, Gray said that from IU’s perspective, their partnership has exceeded expectations in its first year.
“Iman has been fabulous,” Gray said. “He’s been great to work with, and I don’t just say that because he takes my requests. He’s really gotten into a rhythm as the season has gone along, and it will only build from here.”
In Iman’s first year he was able to celebrate with the 2022–2023 Big Ten Outright Conference Champions: Indiana University Women’s Basketball Team.
As far as his expectations for this season?
“To celebrate more historic moments with Hoosier fans, building a closer relationship with Hoosier fans, and spread love while serving whereever we can.”
Tucker said, “this experience means everything to me, and I cannot be more grateful to be in this seat, with these people.”
Iman’s inspiring journey and commitment to excellence have earned him numerous accolades, including a nomination for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Man of the Year in 2021 and Topview TV’s 2022 DJ of the Year.
Tucker will cover all home IU Football Games at Memorial Stadium as well as all home men and women basketball games in Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
The football season begins Sept 2nd at Memorial Stadium as the Hoosiers take on the 4th ranked Ohio State Buckeyes.
