Indiana Pacers DJ: Iman Tucker
Indiana Native selected as 1 of the DJs for the Indiana Pacers
Iman Tucker will serve as 1 of the rotating in-game DJs starting in the 2022–2023 season. This includes a player mix during shoot around, an hour long pre-game mix for players and fan, as well as high energy mixes throughout the contest to keep the crowd amped.
How it started
Tucker started in the NBA serving in 2021 as a pre-game concourse DJ inside of Gainbridge Fieldhouse. He was assigned with curating and preforming a high energy mix to welcome in fans and create hype prior to the contest.
The following summer after his first season, he was elevated to the in-game DJ for the WNBA affiliate the Indiana Fever. At the conclusion of his debut season with the Fever, he got the call. He was offered a spot to work as an official in-game DJ for the Indiana Pacers.

Growing up watching the NBA
Tucker recalls life as an adolescent, growing up supporting the Pacers, being a Kobe fan, and staying up later than his bedtime — even his first Pacer game.
“Basketball meant so much to us. I was in 5th grade the first time I ever went to an NBA game. I had my Jermaine O’Neal Nikes on. I was taken aback by all the entire production. I remember seeing the DJ get announced, with no idea that one day that would be me.
I heard, “How We Do” by The Game and 50 Cent over the speakers at Conseco Fieldhouse. It forever changed how I consumed and connected with music.
Now, nearly 20 years later I am blessed with the gift to do the same with Indiana Pacer fans — connect with music differently.”
His approach to the opportunity
“It is my aim to bring life, energy, and positivity to Pacer fans and players. Expect live mashups, edits, and remixes to get our players and supporters hyped for the contest.”
Tucker, prides his DJ style as a melting pot of music spanning from different decades, cultures, genres and energy. For the past 7 years he has been developing skills and building a collection of music to bring complete strangers togethers and curate environments that allow memories to be made.
Tucker said, “This franchise means a lot to me. Personal ties with legends within the organization, the amazing staff that makes every game feel like a family reunion, and the fans that show up night in and night out inspires me to give it my best.”:
